Pokemon Water Blue brings a different atmosphere to a place many of us know by heart.
The project
A familiar adventure,
seen anew.
Created by gameboy_cl, Pokemon Water Blue is a fan-made FireRed remaster for Game Boy Advance. Its Spanish and Portuguese name is Pokemon Azul Agua.
It starts from the Kanto journey and asks what happens when its places get more attention: a more colorful hometown, a forest with a stronger sense of atmosphere, a museum that invites you to linger.
Follower Pokemon, new events and refreshed interfaces sit alongside that visual work. The aim is a recognizable adventure with its own character.
A world worth noticing
Redesigned environments are central to Water Blue. Buildings, natural spaces and interiors work together to give each stop a stronger identity.
Company for the road
The companion system keeps a Pokemon close in the overworld. It gives those walks between towns a small but meaningful change.
A shared adventure
English, Spanish and Portuguese are included in one build. Players choose a language on the opening screen and begin the same project.
Where the project stands
Still growing.
The current version is Beta 1.4 ML. Playable content runs from Pallet Town through Cerulean City, with around three hours of content.
This release primarily contains translation fixes. It does not extend the story past the established beta scope. There is no confirmed date for a subsequent release.
